Cece's Wonderland: Autumn Photoshoot With Underground Store

Pari viikkoa on taas mennyt kuin siivillä. Meillä on meneillään taloprojekti, joka on saanut monenlaista käännettä (muunmuassa negatiivista) ja työt ovat vieneet ison osan omasta energiasta. Lisää näistä myöhemmin, mutta piakkoin häämöttää edessä pieni miniloma, jolloin saan toivon mukaan energiani takaisin.

Muutama viikko sitten sain viestiä eräältä mallikaveriltani Molla La Donnalta, missä hän kyseli, olisiko kiinnostusta lähteä mukaan kuvauksiin porukalla. Tarkoituksena oli saada aikaan kuvia, jotka pystyivät toimimaan myös samalla vaatteiden mainoskuvina. Olin heti innoissani asiasta ja lupauduin mukaan. Shirleykin oli heti messissä. Kuvakset järjestettiinkin viime sunnuntaina Koskenkorvalla, Jari Mäki Oy toimi kuvaus miljöönä, vaatteista vastasi Underground Store ja hiuskukista sekä koruista vastasi Shirley omalla Shirley's Sweet Desings brändillään.

Kävin viime viikon alussa Shirleyn luona myös pienellä hiusten päivitysreissulla ja jännittikin lähteä kuvauksiin uudella hiusvärillä. Oikeastaan tämä ei sillä lailla poikennut edellisestä muuta kuin, että poistimme mustan nyt kokonaan ja teimme liukuvärjäyksen kuparinoranssista keltaiseen. Keltaisen kanssa oli vain semmoinen ongelma, että oranssi valui herkästi erityisesti pesuvaiheessa keltaisen päälle, joten jo pesun aikana se haalistui vähän. Sain kuitenkin matkaani keltaisen putilon ja yritän kotona saada taiottua keltaisen pysymään värjäämällä pelkän keltaisen osuuden uudelleen puhtaisiin latvoihin.

Noh, toissaviikon Sunnuntai-aamuna Shirley tavan mukaisesti ajoi etupihaan ja nappasi minut kyytiin. Lähdimme jatkamaan matkaa kohti Koskenkorvaa. Heitin päälleni hetken mielijohteesta viime PUG:in tilauksesta tulleen seepra kellohameen ja vihreän Collectifin neuleen, jonka ostin Miss Windy Shopilta. Olen nyt alkanut keräilemään nimenomaan lyhyitä neuleita, ne kun on niin paljon helpompia hameiden kanssa. Jotenkin ns. normipituisesta neuleesta tulee mummo olo kun yhdistää korkeavyötäröisiin, niin olen ottanut tavaksi heti ostaa lyhyet neuleet kun ne silmiini osuvat. Shirleyllä oli myös päällään PUG:ia, laventeli jenny-mekko ja Undergroundstorelta ostettu punainen kissaneule.

Pinup Girl Clothingin seepra-hame on Darling Dames sarjaa, joka ilmeisesti on jokin yhteistyösarja Deadly Damesin kanssa, sillä tämä oli pari seepra kuvioidun vamp toppini kanssa. Saapuessaan hame oli melko jäykähkö, mutta Shirleyn vinkin mukaisesti silitin sen ja materiaali pehmentyi heti. Täytyy myös kehua, että Darling Dames hameet ovat esimerkiksi Jenny hameita selkeästi lyhyempiä ja näin minun ei tarvinnut alkaa tätä ollenkaan lyhentelemään. Taskuista myös iso plussa! Hyvin mahtui Honor 7 taskuun, eikä ollut edes tippumisriskiä.

Olimme paikan päällä kuvaus kohteessa klo 11 pintaan. Ensimmäiseksi kävimme läpi vaatteet, jotka Undergroundstorelta tuotiin ja tutustuttiin porukalla vähän toisiimme. Tämän vuoden Underground Model kilpailun voittaja Miss Sassy Fierce oli täysin uusi ja mukava tuttavuus, muut mallit olivat tuttuja entuudestaan. Shirley myös esitteli ja kävi läpi tuomiansa koruja ja hiuskukkia tyttöjen kanssa. Vaatteiden sovittelun jälkeen jakauduimme kahteen pienryhmään ja lähdimme tahoillemme. Paikanpäällä oli kaksi valokuvaajaa, joten he kumpikin nappasivat oman ryhmän mukaansa.

Lähdin ensin Top Focus Photographyn Jani Pihlajan matkaan yhdessä Molla La Donnan ja Miss Sassy Fiercen kanssa vanhalle rautatieasemalle. Täytyy sanoa, että ensimmäistä kertaa elämässäni olin junaraiteilla hengailemassa ja pelkäsin kuollakseni junia kun kuvasimme. Jani kertoi, että junaliikennettä kyseisellä alueella ei viikonloppuisin ollut. Mutta kilttinä tyttönä, joka on aina kuunnellut äidin varoituksia "Älä leiki raiteilla", seurasin haukkana joka suuntaan valmiina huutamaan ja kipittämään kivikkoa pitkin korkkareissani, jos se tulisi tarpeeseen. Onneksi ei tullut.

Ensimmäisen setin vaatteet olivat Hell Bunnyn punaiset Tina-Caprit ja Collectifin musta Bridgette neulepaita. Omistan nämä samat Tina-Caprit sinisenä, mutta täytyy sanoa, että olen niitä tälle kesälle käyttänyt varmaankin vain kerran. Nämä Caprit ovat kyllä siis supermukavat päällä, erityisesti koska ovat bengalinea. Alun perin palloilin punaisen ja sinisen välillä, valiten lopulta sinisen. Nyt kun tuli näitä käytettyä kuvissa, mietin, olisiko tullut käytettyä enemmän jos olisinkin itsekin ostanut ne punaiset. Bridgette on pehmeä ja todella joustava, mukavan tuntoinen neulepaita, joka sopi erityisen hyvin korkeavyötäröisten alaosien kanssa lyhyytensä vuoksi. Jotenkin vain itselleni ei yhtään sovi nuo tuommoisen "melkein olkapäät paljastavat" paidat. Ne olkapääosuudet ei vain pysy siellä, missä pitää.

Palattuamme takaisin pääpaikkaan, vaihdoin päälle Collectifin Naomi leopardineulekynämekkoni. Olen aiemminkin kuvannut tämä kyseinen mekko päällä ja mukavuutensa vuoksi siitä on kyllä tullut yksi perusarkimekoistani, joka on ehkä liiankin helppo vetää aamulla klo 6.30 päälle työmatkalle. Kyseinen mekko on erittäin pehmeä ja joustava myös, jonka vuoksi olisin ihan hyvin voinut ottaa koon pienemmän kuin, mitä yleensä, mutta kun tämän ostin keikan jälkeen, en viitsinyt sitä vaihtaa. Erityisesti lantion kohdalta huomaa, että pienempikin olisi mennyt sillä herkästi helma valahtaa polviin asti vaikka muuten pysyisi kivasti reisien päällä. Ehkä kavennutan tätä jahka saan aikaiseksi hankkia äidin ompelukoneeseen lankaa.

Kuvasimme myös ryhmäkuvan koko porukalla Jari Mäki Oy:n limusiinin edessä molempien kuvaajien kanssa. Tarkoituksellisesti laitoimme kaikki leopardia ja vedin vielä överit lisäämällä asukokonaisuuteeni myös Lola Ramonan leopardi korkokengät, joita metsästin vuoden ennen kuin lähetin rohkeasti sähköpostia Boutique Fredalle yksinkertaisesti kysyäkseni, olisiko mitenkään heidän mahdollista hankkia jostakin yhdet 36-koon korkkarit. Yllätyksekseni sellaiset olikin sopivasti heillä varaston perällä, oli vain jäänyt laittamatta verkkokauppaan.

Viimeisenä asukokonaisuutena oli Hell Bunnyn punainen kellohame ja musta neulepaita ruusukoristeella. Tämäkin neule oli pehmeä, mutta melko huonosti jousti siihen nähden, että normikoon ottaessani rintaliivit paistoivat kilometrien päähän, joten nappasin koon isomman siveellisyys syistä kuvia varten. Omistan tämän saman kellohameen itseasiassa myös punaisena, mutta se ei ihan 100% suosikkeihini kuulu, koska on melko ohutta ja kevyttä materiaalia (joten tyllihameki paistaa liian helposti alta). Kuumana kesäpäivänä tämä on kyllä hyvä, mutta 100% Marilyn efekti tällä on kyllä pienelläkin henkäyksellä taattu. Tyllihame on Bannedin ja ehdottomasti niitä parhaimpia tyllihameita, mitä olen ikinä kokeillut. Omistan saman tyllihameen vedenvihreänä enkä enää Hell Bunnyn tylleihin palata tämän jälkeen.

The past few weeks have passed me like a storm. We've been having trouble with our house project and my work is taking asll my energy at the moment. I will tell you all about the house stuff later. Soon I will be having a minibreak from work, so hopefully I will get to charge my batteries.

A few weeks ago my friend Molla La Donna contacted me via facebook, asking if I was interested to do a photo shoot with a bunch of other models. The goal was to make photos that could be used at the same time as advertisement photos for the clothes we are wearing. I was superexcited and said yes immidiately. My friend Shirley was also on board. So about a week ego we did the shoot at Koskenkorva. Our host was Jari Mäki Oy, our clothes came from Underground Store and Shirley's own brand Shirley's Sweet Desings we're in charge of the jewellery and hairflowers.

Just before the shoot I visited Shirley at her barbershop to get some update for my hair. This time we colored completely my own dark colors away and made the copper turn to orange and at the end of my hair yellow. At first it was kinda exciting would it work, since I'm originally black haired and turning it blonde is very difficult but it turned out kinda nice. The yellow get's easily mixed with the orange during showers so I took a yellow coloring bottle with me to add extra each time I wash my hair and it has worked nicely.

So anyway, sunday morning Shirley picked me up and we drove to Koskenkorva for our shoot. At first I didn't really know what to wear for the trip but than from the spur of the moment I grabbed my Collectif cardigan and my Pinup Girl Clothing zebra skirt. I have started to collect shorter cardies since they are way more easier to pair with skirts and jeans. I really don't like to normali lenght ones, since my waist is also kinda high up. Shirley was also wearing PUG, she had the lavender jenny dress paired with a red cat cardigan from underground Store.

The zebra dress is a Darling Dames skirt and probably is a part of the Deadly Dames collection since it matches up nicely with my zebra vamp top too. At first the fabric was kinda stiff but after ironing it became really nice and easy to wear. This skirt is really a dream, because it is short enough for me (no shortening needed) and it has POCKETS that have loads of room for my Honor 7 without needing to be afraid it might fall out.

So we arrived on location about 11AM and met the group first. We also met this years Underground Model winner Miss Sassy Fierce, she was really nice! We tried on the clothes Underground Store brought us and Shirley showcased her earrings and hairflowers. After that we we're put into two groups since there we're two photographers and we each followed one to another location.

At first I followed Jani Pihlaja from Top Focus Photography. Molla La Donna and Miss Sassy Fierce we're also with us. We wen't to an old railway and I was super terrified. I've been taught to never hang on railways no matter what, but the photographer said it was safe because there we're no traffic during the weekends. Still I was like a hawk watching my surroundigs ready to scream and run like hell with my heels on. Thankfully, there was no need for it.

In the first shoot my set of clothes we're red Tina capris from Hell bunny and a black Bridgette shirt from Collectif. I actually have these capris in navy blue but I don't think I have worn them but mahybe once this summer. I was kinda torn between should I buy the red or the navy blue and settled wit the navy. Now while wearing the red ones I feel I should have bought them instead. Well anyway they are bengaline and super comfy to wear! Also the Bridgette top is really soft and nice, also a huge plus for it being short so it fits with everything high-waisted. I just have a problem with clothes that show a little elbow, they don't seem to stay in place at all.

After being ready at the railway we returned back to change another set of clothes. This time I wore the leopard knit dress from Collectif. This is one of my favorites because it is super stretchy and easy to pull on 6AM for work. The only thing is that I got ths after a performance and because of it's stretchyness I could have easily sized down. Now the hem seems to come down way too easy making it a bit too long for me. Maybe I will taper it a bit as soon as I have the time and energy to use my mothers sewing machine.

We took one group photo in front of Jari Mäki Oy limousine and we we're all wearing leopard for it. I wen't a bit over and wore also my favorite Lola Ramona shoes in leopard. I've been looking for these shoes for ages but everywhere they we're sold out in size. So one day I emailed Boutique Freda to ask them if they had any idea where to get these and luckily they replied they have exatly one pair in size 36 wich they had forgotten to put online. I ordered them right away.

For the last photo shoot session I wore a red circle skirt from Hell Bunny and a black cardie with a red rrose on it. This cardigan was also really soft but it didn't have the same kind of stretch as the others because of it's material and you could actually see my bra from between the buttons miles away. So I had to size up for the pictures. I actually own this same circle skirt exatly in red, but it's not really my favorite. The fabric is really thin and light, collects dust easily and on a windy day you can really get a 100% Marilyn effect. But on a hot day it's really nice to wear. The petticoat is from Banned and it's one of the best ones I have ever worn. I also have this in green and I swear I'm never

going back to Hell Bunny petticoats.
